This one star review is not for the actual doctors or office staff at site MD it is 100% for the billing department. Don’t ever let them make a mistake where they owe you money. I’ve been trying for four months to get a refund since they overcharged me for my glasses . I understand everyone makes mistakes, but this billing department is definitely ghosting me and now I had to file a Better Business Bureau complaints and also with my credit card.

I had cataract surgery and developed a blurriness over that eye which is common . Dr Almallah performed the Yag procedure to correct vision and when he zapped that eye it made me near sighted in that eye. I had paid extra money($4000) for the special lens so I wouldn’t have to wear glasses for distance. He offered to do laser surgery on that eye for $500 to correct it but I didn’t feel I should have to pay for his mistake . So now I have mono vision. Not what I wanted or paid for 😢

I recently had surgery with Dr Potash, I was put at ease before and after surgery all my questions and concerns were addressed Dr Potash is always patient taking his time to explain everything to you. The office staff is considerate. I’m always seen promptly . M.Barrow

Before you have any surgery done on your eye with Sight MD make sure that you get your cost inclusive of ALL charges because they will rip your eyes out with all kinds of charges. They are the worst with billing that I have ever dealt with and so many extra charges that are not discussed with you prior to your surgery. Stay away from this place.....

Post cataract surgery; I don't see as well as I did BEFORE cataract surgery. Dr. Ellant says since my cataracts have been removed I can now see clearly that I CAN NOT SEE CLEARLY (??). Many floaters in my right eye were supposed to be eliminated by removing my cataracts. They weren't. Dr.Ellant tried to sell me $3000 implant-lenses (per eye), even though I am on Medicaid. This cost would have come out of my pocket. I declined. Then came the offer of $1800 lenses (per eye). I declined. Then he suggested that any eye drops I w... read more

Dr. Avni performed cataract surgery and my left eye now has a "blur" dead center and his reaction when I told him was so rude and uncaring, he said and I quote "it's not like you're blind". Horrible attitude and apparently it matches his skill.

On my first visit for cataract, they did numerous tests and then I was handed a paper with out of pocket costs and quoted for standard and premium IOLs with or without laser by Dr.Martin. Second visit was pre-op visit and I wanted to inquire about multifocal IOL #1 I was told that my right eye has astigmatism and my only option was a standard Toric IOL.#2 Why was this not discovered in initial exam.#3 My optometrist, another ophthalmologist told me my right eye has a mild cataract but Sightmd was more than willing to do bot... read more

Douglas Lange A note of gratitude to Dr Nichols for his knowledge, surgical skill and professionalism. I was diagnosed with a cancerous growth in my eye which was very serious. Dr Nichols did an extraordinary job removing it he cancer. I am fortunate that Dr Nichols. was my surgeon. I highly recommend Dr Nichols and his supportive staff.
