Not a bad motel. Rooms are clean. Beds are reasonably comfortable. Bad points- No electric blankets. No extra blankets. These are essential in a place that can be so cold. We had to leave the heater on all night just to keep warm. Other than this issue, it's a pretty good motel. We will stay again, just not when it's cold.

Air-conditioner did not work. Had a cold night. Found the filter for the aircon in the bottom of wardrobe full of dust. Fridge door would not open as it was frozen shut. Room smelt musty

Lets be clear this is a budget hotel, at the time of booking Sandpipers was $60 a night cheaper than the 3 star place I normally stay at in Naracoorte. Budget yes so it looks a bit daggy outside but inside is spacious, has a lounge and table, a place to eat, tv that's tuned in, the most comfortable bed and clean linen, is it immaculate no, its clean and tidy and has no unpleasant smells.
