If you have a greyhound don't go anywhere else. The knowledge and care they have shown our adopted greyhound has been spectacular.Greyhounds have strange bodies and Sandown are very well-versed in how to care for them and keep them happy and healthy. This is going to be a bit long. Sandown were absolutely amazing with my 18-year-old cat Gigi, who had cancer and unfortunately passed away last year. I’m very grateful for the vets’ service and treatment—Gigi went on to live another two years after her surgery, and I’m really happy about that. Peach was injured while at the facility in their care. I dropped her off at 9:45am then they called my mum at 2:19pm to tell her there was an injury and could they do stitches, mum said yes (confused why this was the case), they did not do them at all. The co-owner ,Anita Smith, accepted no responsibility and would not even offer a partial refund after I asked, NOT demanded, to pay for another vet to see Peach. On several occasions, I received poor service from their staff. I asked why I should pay more than I had paid on several occasions for the same service, and the response was that I should find another vet and that they would send the medical records. I think that's how they treat clients. They made me feel very bad. I will never return. Look for other vets who value their clients. I highly recommend Sandown Vet Clinic; their exceptional animal care and welcoming environment are noteworthy. My staffy has received excellent treatment there on multiple occasions, and the staff consistently demonstrates respect. I appreciate their dedication to my dog's well-being and their thoroughness in addressing her health concerns.
