From the first time I met Dr Teja, I felt like I was in good hands. As an aging professional athlete who has had about 20 surgeries on various injuries, he put me completely at ease, answered questions and took a lot of time with me. This was my second spine surgery, and happy to say I will be ready to compete in 76 days because I was cared for so well!
Dr Teja was very knowledgeable and made our family very comfortable with the surgery he preformed.
I have Chiari Malformation and was referred to Teja. I have had brain surgery, but continue to experience great pain. He completely minimized my condition and pain. Let me know that 'some of his patients have been left paralyzed, so...' I left feeling completely defeated, destroyed. Unbelievably ill-mannerred.
I had a C5-C7 ACDF by Dr Teja in January 2022. During my initial office visit, Dr Teja advised it was best to get the fusion instead of a disc replacement. Upon seeing my disappointment in the replacement not being an option, he asked my concerns. After telling him my concerns, Dr Teja broke down everything for me. Horrible. Asked me a question then as i would answer he would cut me off. Did not want to touch me physically which is pretty important for consult appointment. Very rude and didnt LISTEN, only seemed to CHALLENGE me on what i would say. I have serious cervical issues and he made me feel like a product on an assembly line. NEXT!!........
Man is nothing short of a miracle worker. I'd had 3 botched procedures earlier in the year, and he diagnosed and fixed it end of story . Thanks again Dr. Teja and staff.
Only 2 weeks from initial consultation to surgery. Spinal surgery went great and I feel great. He’s not very personable but I could care less as long as the job was done correctly
Dr. Teja is very intellegent but sometimes evasive regarding "bedside manor" and "aftercare".

I had Dr. Teja fuse/fix my back at Martha Washington in Charlottesville, VA. in June of 2013. Best doctor I have ever met. He was excellent all through the process. I was so bad I had to use a wheelchair to see Dr. teja. It has been 8 years and I am still great. However, he told me I had degenerative disc. I am now feeling that starting up.
