Stayed in 401 for a wedding weekend away. The first day we had NO hot water. Was freezing cold. Wasn't untill the next day that things were sorted and we were moved into another room. Management was lovely about it but no discounted prices were offered or anything else for the first day where we couldn't use the showers or hot water. At all.
My wife and I stayed at Sandcastles. The room was ok, not the most sparkling clean though. The view was quite nice. The location was very good though. Walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. Leaving our car at Sandcastles was the better option. Parking for the general public can be difficult through the peak times.😒
Absolutely a must stay! Just for the views alone, and the location is prime. Had only one hiccup, which wasn’t any ones fault, but was still taken care of for the duration of my stay. Can’t say enough good things:) thanks again! The pic was taken on a 5 min walk from my room
Lost some items here, the hotel found and then lost said items. They 100% pinned the blame on me. Communication was extremely poor and when trying to resolve the issue the manager was extremely snarky, remarkably rude. They claimed to have thrown the items out because I had not called them back. Not true, as I have several call logs to show my more than a dozen attempts. Maybe if the phone was picked up more often, this issue could have been avoided.
