Lost some items here, the hotel found and then lost said items. They 100% pinned the blame on me. Communication was extremely poor and when trying to resolve the issue the manager was extremely snarky, remarkably rude. They claimed to have thrown the items out because I had not called them back. Not true, as I have several call logs to show my more than a dozen attempts. Maybe if the phone was picked up more often, this issue could have been avoided. We recently stayed at Sandcastles Mooloolaba and had an exceptional experience, largely due to their outstanding customer service. We encountered some issues with our booking through a third-party booking service, but Maddie and Joel went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly and smoothly. Love this place! from check in to check out the service was amazing, the location the best, and the rooms and facilities were well maintained and very clean. Loved the decor of our room and the beautiful courtyard outside (omg those plants!). Only intended on staying a couple of nights but extended our stay due to the experience. A few metres walk to the beach, delicious food options right there, and the pool and spa were so relaxing in the hot hours middle of the day. Will def be back. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights recently in a standard apartment and had a wonderful time. Unit was clean and well equipped, bed and reclining lounge were very comfy. Close to everything we needed. Maddy on reception was just lovely. We will definitely be back.

Great location! Stayed in Room 306, comfy bed, great set up and fab views. Windows are double glazed in the lounge too, so there’s a bit of tint in there to keep you cool in summer. Only negative was the noise from the bins of the surf club emptied earlier in the mornings. And our window had a slight lip which meant noise came in the bedroom (needs to be sealed, think it’s a fire window).
