Had a wonderful time at Sandcastles which is situated right behind the surf club and less than 100m from the beach and the Wharf complex respectively. Easy walk to the esplanade and the shop fronts. Looking forward to another reason to stay here again in the not so distant future.

I absolutely do not recommend this place. It was nothing like the accommodation we reserved and looked forward to for over six months. We received many threatening emails, warning us that even the smallest mistake would result in extra charges. Because of this, during our stay we didn’t even use the trash bin or a single cup. There was no body wash in the bathroom, and the soap bar was left wet at the bottom with foam still on it. We have stayed at sandcastles a few times and always had good service. But recently I had to cancel my booking due to my sister passing away. When I went to rebook after needing some time away I spoke to the reception named Cath and she assured she would give us a nice ocean view room and even gave me the room number so on arrival to check in to find we were put around the back was so upsetting and they made me feel and look like an idiot and she said they didn't say that.
