New owners took over Sandcastles in 2011. The place is cleaned up and a great stay. i would recommend to everyone. We have remodeled, replaced and painted everything. The beach is big and well maintained. And yes, I am also the Manager of the Resort. Check out ANY review after 2011. I challenge you lol.
The room was terrible, I mean disgusting. The upkeep was aweful. There was a sickening, musty smell that lingered in the room. The carpet was beige but it was soiled black in large areas from dirt. The windows wouldn't open and the air conditioning unit located on the inside had a huge hole. I didn't stay in the room, I couldn't, it was pitiful. Don't waste your money or time on this place.
