1 star is for the beach view only! No privacy whatsoever! Definitely NO LUXURY here! Other guests cutting across our front sliding doors pathway. Black mould on bathroom ceiling, also old stains/mould on all the curtains. Mismatch of all crockery and cutlery-also stained and dirty! Fridge dirty, freezer is in need of defrosting as well. As the other reviews said nothing luxury at all Mould in the shower, spider web on the ceiling, mouldy smell as soon as you open the door and to top it off the gas oven was not working ( so no pizzas for dinner as planned) they even left a lighter to ignite the gas cooktop I rung the manager about it and he told me to get the oven grill out and get on my knees to get to ignition point, turn the gas on and stick my head in the oven and flick the f…. Excellent location and good size, though in desperate need of a deep clean. Certainly needs some maintenance to live up to the ‘luxury’ name.
Definitely not a luxury apartment. Great location, but that is the only positive. Apartment needed a serious deep clean. Coffee machine was completely full of used pods, crockery was dirty, fridge mouldy, freezer frozen over , shower had hair and sand in it, , dryer full of sand. Windows and blinds filthy . To top it off I was charged $95.00 for a cleaning fee when booked through Bookings.con. Balcony/stairs grotty. Gardens and surrounds unkempt.
We had a booking with Bookings.com and had to cancel our stay due to a cyclone hitting where we were meant to be staying. We physically could not travel to the accommodation site and lodge a request for a refund. It has now been 2 weeks of arguing between the accommodation site and bookings.com for our refund. A partial refund has been offered of $95 when our accommodation cost was over $400. They advise that our cancelation does not meet their cancelation policy..... as stated to them we cancelled based on the fact a cyclon... read more
