Dr. Carniciu is a lovely person and extremely smart. Not only does she take great care of me, but has been an advocate for me during a work related issue. Her demeanor is a bit stoic, but I don't need my doctor to be warm and fuzzy. I need them to know their profession very well and be able to trust them. I trust both Mr and Mrs Carniciu; if you didn't know, her husband is a fabulous family practitioner!
Condescending , rude . Does not listen to patient at all , interupts and talks over them ! Don't waste your time
Thoughtful, empathic and thorough
I have known Dr. Carniciu for a long time. I need to establish an absolute level of trust with my doctor and Dr. Carniciu always does a very good job at creating that level of trust where I am very comfortable discussing my issues and asking questions. She is very knowledgeable in her field and she makes sure she explains the diagnosis and treatment in clear, understandable terms and answers all the questions. Dr. Carniciu’s office staff is very professional and always ready to help.
Dr. Carniciu, is very pleasant and knowledge and explainsed my condition so I could understand and answered all my questions.
I have never met a doctor who said, I don't know so much. I asked several questions and she couldn't advise what I should do next, what type of doctor I should see next. She couldn't explain why my back hurts so much. She seemed insensitive to the fact I kept saying I was in pain. I left very frustrated and angry. I will find a new neurologist who knows more about the spine.
2 female staff members at window are not very nice. Not receptive, no greeting, almost like I was disturbing them when I showed up for appointment. Gave me card for second appointment, hand-written. Day before I called to confirm and was told a different date. Staff made me feel dumb, like it was ME who wrote the wrong date on card.
