We are a small animal practice that strives to provide above average, practical medical care in a professional, caring and clean environment. We offer preventive medicine, dental care, internal medicine, surgery and boarding. We have an in house laboratory, digital radiography and ultrasound to assist in the diagnosis of your pet's problems. We also offer orthopedics with knee surgeries and fracture repairs, as well as soft tissue surgery.

Great Surgery service Dr. Smith performed surgery on our dog to remove a very large fatty tumor. The tumor was under the muscle so it was not a simple removal. She and Dr. Spurgeon, who assisted were great. The entire team is very thoughtful, taking care to make both our dog and us feel at ease. I highly recommend Sand Lake AC, they are fantastic. Sand Lake Animal Clinic is highly recommended by us! I would highly recommend this vet. We were new to Orlando and the closest vet to our new house was the Metro West Vet Clinic. So we went in for our first visit as a new client and were not overly thrilled by the cleanliness of the rooms or friendliness of the staff but we stayed with the vet thinking we'll give them a chance. Quality animal care We have been going to this vet for several years. We have 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a guinea pig. They have always treated us well and have convenient hours for appointments. The animals don't enjoy going there, but who could blame them? From a human perspective, Sand Lake Animal Clinic is good. PROS: Nice staff CONS: expensive

SAND LAKE ANIMAL CLINIC The team of professional at Sand Lake Animal Clinic have been serving us supremely since 1994 when we moved to Orlando. They are caring and compassionate, especially in the loss of one cat. They even sent us a sympathy card! Now, with our big old yellow lab, they treat her like their own when she comes to vacation. Great care My dog has had great care here she been going since she was a puppy. She has a knee disorder that causes her knees to pop out of place. The knee we had surgery on first had several challenges and ended up needing to have the surgery done two more times. This was not the fault of the vet more flukes that you wouldn't expect and we weren't charged for the additional services. Since then her other knee has been fixed and we have had no problems. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Exceptional care and personal attention was given to us during an extremely sensitive experience in the loss of my cat of 18 years. In particular Dr. Smith showed us special attention with our boy and we greatly appreciate her efforts the whole way through.
Rude Vets Who Do Not Care About Animals- Only Money One of the vets is aweful....Rude, inconsiderate, and showed no concern for the dog or owner. A little empathy for a very very sick dog would go a long way.
