Don't believe the angry reviews this place is great. – Had a huge addition built for a dinning room and dance floor. Large outside tropical deck. Pong on Tuesday nights with a great crowd and prizes. Country and Rock Night. Thursday Team Trivia with DJ Jason K as host and more prizes. And Huge dance parties on the weekend. Sunday NFL. Horrible! – This is the worst place I have ever been too! I have tryed going there multiple times every time there is a problem. The service is horrible every time I go there! The people that go there normaly are dirty. The bouncers are anti-military There really is nothing good to say about it.
The Sand Dollar – I have never really had an issue at the Sand Dollar other than it being so cramped until last Saturday. I ordered a rum and coke and it did not taste right. I turned back around and said that I thought maybe the soda wasn't pouring right or something. I've been going there for years and love the place! The bruschetta is amazing, the bartenders are fun, and the deck in the summer is the best. And, there's always toilet paper in the women's bathroom!!
Huge menu and nothing bad yet! – we are some older people that enjoy the service and the food. My wife and I have been back at least six times and never got bad service. We take our friends and have gotten to know the owner. She recently had a fourth birthday party for her customers. games and gifts and contests along with carny food...fab. cramped and bad service – was bar hopping in elmira and some friends told me to go up there-did not like it-it was so tiny. small can be okay but it was an uncomfortable squeeze, and not because it was so crowded-because it was so small-there were some not so desirable clientele and it took like an hour to get one drink! i couldn't even get to the bar-ended up going to rounding third and the hi bar-liked them much better.
