Sand Cay used to be a reasonable alternative to other price gouging places, but they’ve started to fleece people now, too. When we originally started giving our business to Sand Cay just a few years ago, we paid a nightly rate of $250 or so. It’s gone up at least 50% in each of the following years, and now it’s…wait for it…$650 a night after fees. Simply Paradise!!!
My family stayed at sand cay beach resort unit 203 from 7/19 to 7/26 We have stayed in This unit before and it was nice. We selected the unit from the on line picture portal showing the inside of the unit. Upon walking into the unit we saw that the floor was visibly dirty and sandy with signs of what appeared to be black dirt on the floor. The window blinds were removed and there were black shower curtains hanging over the front patio door and windows. This was our 1st time at Sand Cay and our family & the other 2 families we were there with had a great week! We had beautiful sunny weather & a clear calm ocean! Our condo was great! Great ocean view! Loved the beach, lounge chairs, & property. Saw dolphins, manatees, manta rays, & sea turtles.We hope to visit again!
