Bit old but priceless private little resort for winter ice fishing
Our group has been coming here for four years, to sail our little boats and (mostly) sit around and talk. The resort has a wonderful, expertly-maintained beach and indoor and outdoor gathering places. The staff is professional and welcoming.
Peaceful and quiet hotel. Relaxed vibe. Very friendly and helpful staff- Deanna is a gem :) and her muscles are inspiring! Beautiful well kept sand beach.Dog friendly. Warm pool and hot tub. Comfy bed and linens- however, the room wasn’t as clean as it should be- dusty window treatments, dirty toaster, peeling wallpaper and mold in the bathroom. The tap water is smelly so bring your own. The direct beach access was fantastic, but the property itself needs some updates. The décor is cluttered and dated, and replacing worn furniture and removing old artificial plants would really freshen up the rooms. The bedding was uncomfortable, so newer mattresses, pillows, and softer blankets would improve sleep quality. The water is from a well, and has a strong rotten egg smell.
