The resort was absolutely amazing! The location was just far enough away from the city to enjoy a quiet, relaxing time. The beach was beautiful in September. The staff was super helpful! Highly recommend a stay here!
A beautiful private beach with the waterfront rooms, worth the view. Kitchen in the suite was very clean and convenient. Even had a game room, a little dated but nice addition. A little nook library and board games on second floor. And we can't leave out our favorite staff person, Deana...she went out of her way to make sure we chose the right room, gave us a history of the place, helped us with the outside grills and fireplaces to make a bonfire. Sand Bay is a great place to get from the cities and it is a quiet and private place. I love that they have a private beach there. So it's not crowded like a pool would be. I love that the owner is a fisherman's guide. So u get a discount on the room if u bring your own boat. The owners are always nice there and they always care about u and your group. Great family owned hotel in their private beach front.
We stayed 3 nights at resort. We loved our stay. The rooms are nice, and clean. Great views of lake. Owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. Pool and spa was a relaxing amenity. For one of our days, we had Dale as our guide for bass fishing. It was a great experience. We definitely rate this resort a must revisit 😀
