Very poor and deceptive communication about cost. Asked multiple times about payment because I was paying upfront was told the cost and payed only to see that I was billed twice the amount later and was NEVER INFORMED of additional cost. Second issue is that they called me then billed me for that call, at no point was I informed that they were trying to make an appointment that they were going to bill me for. San Ysidro Health Center is an excellent clinic with a very professional and caring staff. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The front desk team is friendly, organized, and always willing to help with any questions or paperwork. The doctors truly listen to their patients and take the time to explain everything clearly. Never really have any trouble getting referrals or the help I need here. My Dr. is very helpful, kind, and informative. The mental health resources offered were also very considerate and took the time to make sure that I was being taken care of. The front desk staff is usually friendly and so are the nurses. Good option if you are local to Alpine :)
This clinic is NOT good at all and I base my review on the lousy services we’ve received. Dr. Rachel Van Hollebeke and Dr. Estefania Larrosa are NOT professional nor they know how to address the patients’ health concerns. Instead, they rush us every time we’ve an appointment and they don’t have the necessary expertise to connect with us to find the right treatment or solution.
