We booked the table for our anniversary dinner. We had an amazing experience from previous Argentinian restaurant in Melbourne - Asado, so decided to visit another restaurant from the group. We considered the $95 set menu as a great option. Food was tasty and fresh, staff friendly, however, the amount of food was very disappointing. Quantity to price was overpriced. The drinks were served after two entrees. We would not get the set menu again.

10/10 would recommend!!!! This is our 4th visit and still amazed at the high level of quality and the consistency of the food and service. We flew to Melbourne for our wedding anniversary and there was no doubt that we wanted to spend it at San Telmo.
My first encounter with Argentine cuisine which turned out to be a very good one. For someone who don't normally eat beef & lamb, I tried both & were pleasantly surprised. In fact, I enjoyed everything that we ordered. Ambience is lively but not for a quiet dinner if you are looking for that. A bit pricy but worth another visit.
