Welcome to San Mateo Prime! Our staff at San Mateo Prime passionately delivers a prime choice of beef to their customers since late 2007. Our main feature is dry aged prime rib, where each rack of succulent prime rib is cooked with rock salt and slowly roasted to perfection. It is then cut on our trolly and served au jus. San Mateo Prime is Great!! Love this place - has got all the same perks as House of Prime Rib but without the hassle of parking and long waits! Have never had a bad meal - Cocktails are great! Highly recommend!
RecommendedSan Mateo Prime saved Christmas!! We ordered our Christmas dinner from a local catering company and they never delivered it. I found San Mateo Prime at the last minute tonight (Christmas Eve) and they were amazing! So helpful taking my order over the phone, super easy parking right in front. I picked up my order and it was perfect, fresh, hot and tasted amazing. Incredibly friendly customer service and wonderful food. We will be lifelong customers

This place was delight full. The atmosphere in the place made a huge on the effect of my review I felt comfortable in the steakhouse knowing I could sip some wine lounge back and read a book. Or I could eat and stare into the flickering candle in the centre of the table. My server was friendly and knew exactly how to charm me with stories about his daughter. We ate here Friday, August 23, and had a really great dining experience. It was our first visit since tey opened. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. Their San Mateo Prime Rib, (16 oz), was fantastic...tasty, tender and trimmed of visible fat. My wife and I each had different side dishes, and all were quite good, especially the creamed spinach. Pacing of our meal was perfect, as was the attentiveness and service of our waiter, Andrew, who was quite helpful with our wine selections, too. We will definitely return.
Let me just start out by saying their food is delicious,their service is spectacular,and thier staff is very friendly. Except one gentlemen who i found to be a disgrace to the restaurant. He just didnt fit in. I found not only myself but other people around me very irritated with him. He was constantly in the way of the waiters or waitresses, he held on a discussion while my husband and I were trying to est and i really felt uncomfortable.
