Wish I could give it more stars because I live nearby and really wanted the San Marcos Café to become a regular haunt, particularly for breakfast. Nice people, but after eight or 10 visits, giving them chance after chance, its food is still merely mediocre, and wildly inconsistent. One visit its green is as fiery as Horseman's Level 5; the next it is tasteless. The red is humdrum, nothing more. San Marcos Cafe & Feed was pretty good! I really enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and green chile! All the food was really good. The bathroom was a funny situation, but didn't detract from the overall experience! Will be back to rry other food soon!
Our family has alot of history here at the Cafe San Marco. My father found these to be the absolute best cinnamon rolls (warmed up !) of any he had ever had ! My mom always likes the green chili stew, me the red chili. The bowl size is so large you will be able to feed an army. Cup size was plenty for me. Generous all around here.
Precious spot outside of Santa Fe with the only cinnamon rolls worth eating, in my opinion. Old school vibes, fresh home-cooking style food, laid back, and romantic. Free coffee refills. This is the sort of place that no longer exists in so many towns… feels like a relic from a friendlier, slower, more authentic era.
