Let me start by saying that the staff on the ambulances we had to deal with were great in handling my two sick and scared toddlers... now, to the reason for one star. We are new to California and both of our kids got ecoli last year. They were in bad shape, and while the second hospital we visited finally diagnosed it correctly and immediately started booking rooms for them at Children's Hospital at Stanford. Despicable people. The paramedic deliberately lied about my condition to get me the ambulance, telling me i needed treatment when I didn’t, the minute I sat down on inside, she said “ your vitals are fine “ but we have to drive you to the hospital now because your inside the ambulance. When I reported this to the manger he began making excuses for her, acknowledged it was wrong, but then retracted and said “ we’re going to send you a huge bill and if you don’t pay it, we will ruin your credit” They billed me 3800.00.
