I asked if they take my insurance when I made appointment. They said yes. Saw doctor. Got a bill insurance wasn't in network. Gave me a drug that effected my diabetes that lasted ten days without warning. The service was a joke and the help to insure billing and patient health matters, doesn't matter to them. Its just about the money. The doctor was talking surgery. I laughed at him. I started self physical therapy, I am walking without pain. No drugs or surgery. Interesting office! The stains and grime on the carpet, walls and furniture should have been a red flag to turn around and leave but when you can’t stand the pain anymore you’ll put up with almost anything. The up front (tattooed) staff person greeted me at check-in with announcing that I had an $18 outstanding bill to pay (but struggled to find the reason what it was for in her computer.) I had a positive experience with Dr. Cook for my plantar fasciitis. Unfortunately, due to the extremely rude staff and predatory no-show policy, I will not be going back. At my appointment, the doctor said he wanted me to come back in 6 weeks. Unknown to me, this meant they were scheduling me for the same time exactly six weeks later without my consent. I received a text notification about my appointment less than 24 hours before, and when I called to cancel the next morning, I was informed I would be charged a no-show fee. ... read more
