The San Jose Center for the Performing Arts also hosts plays, concerts, and a variety of cultural events year-round. stupid directions – I specifically asked for the route from Palo Alto to the San Jose Performing Arts Center via I 280. 101 is a terrible road and is usually blocked by traffic. Also I live on the west side of town and I 280 is much closer and easier to get to than 101. What happened to the button that allowed me to select another route? This set of directions is worse than useless!!!!

Inside, a pleasant red-carpeted lobby leads into a dramatic performance hall with a curved and sloping space of about 2,500 comfy, well-spaced seats offering a good amount of leg room and clear sightlines. No wonder many folks consider this the finest performance facility in the South Bay.
