Recovery house saved my life it's been almost 34 years ago I wnt through the program 34 years sober 4/1/91
Just called them to ask if they accept medical which is a YES I'm jus waiting to get a call about admissions & intake process. Hopefully they have beds available I'm done being dependent on substances, opiates for 5yrs methadone for 3yrs 120mg but it's time to get detox.
Came here in 2007. It seemed rough, but I knew I needed to be there. I gathered what applied to me and stored what didn't, in case it applied to me later. Sometimes, we all were punished for the actions of a few, but I remembered that I needed to be there. After 90 days, I continued the year-long aftercare. I'm now meth-free for nearly 16 years. It can take no time or weeks it is just about demand. I spent 3 months there. I thought it was a very good program. I liked it better then the sober living i went to after. Warm weather usually means vacancies. When it gets cold everyone wants in.
