Not state of the art but good enough... The San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital is a good local hospital. While their services are limited, they offer most emergency and general hospital services. They have a brand new maternity ward that is pretty nice. The only problem is that they are not equipped to handle premature infants and have to transport them to another hospital. They also can't handle certain trauma or emergency cases. The emergency room wait is quite long as well.
Former Patient I was recently a patient in the ED which is very busy but processing patients as rapidly as possible. The staff was very friendly, the physician knowledgeable and very thorough. I had to have a CT of my head and the diagnostic imaging staff were very courteous and explained everything to me allowing me to ask questions. It is true that the building is old and it is not a trauma center but the quality of care was exceptional and I feel secure knowing that the hospital is there if I need it. Caring staff Going to the emergency room can be very stressful but the staff here makes it easier. They are very nice, patient and caring and really take good care of you.
