I recommend asking for a different judge if John True is trying your small claims case (it's legal to reject a judge once by saying you feel this judge would be prejudiced towards you before you present). I believe he decides cases based on his bias, then does mental gymnastics to justify his decision, regardless of the facts. For my medical battery case, he ruled that a "(vertical reduction) sliding genioplasty" and "chin bone shaving (into a V and mullet shape)" were "not substantially different procedures" after I showed ... read more
