This place was so nice even though it’s nice to the eight freeway in San Diego/La Mesa California. The RV park is super clean. The pool and Jacuzzi super nice and clean and the restrooms with showers are super clean. Plus at the end of the RV park you can catch the 70th St. trolley into downtown San Diego and stop along the way wherever you want and have fun. We took the trolley August 17 to PETCO Park for Luke Bryan Jason Aldean concert and it was super easy $2.50 a person one way.
The place is tucked. Etween the trolley tracks and Interstate 8, the staff is vert friendly. But the noise! Oh my goodness! Much too noisy near the freeway. We won’t stay there again.
This review is for a one week stay at Sunland RV Resort in La Mesa. THE GOOD….location is great to all the activities one might want to do in San Diego. The trolley station is just outside the resort giving you access to all of downtown San Diego. There are full hookups. THE BAD….It is a stretch to call this a resort. It is more like a trailer park.
