People don’t need psychiatric care. They need community. All the suicidal hotlines are useless and ineffective. All the abuse we have taken as a society and then we get a hotline after we’ve been isolated and abused and shamed for having addictions or mental health issues. It’s all cause and effect. Stop treating the symptoms and stop violating people’s rights to have freedom of choice. SB43 should be shut down immediately in my opinion.
