I had a very disappointing experience at San Antonio Recovery Center, specifically with my counselor Shiara. I was kicked out before my treatment was completed, which was both destabilizing and harmful to my recovery. I was told the reason was that my insurance didn’t want to pay, but after looking into it, that explanation did not appear to be accurate. My son is new there 1 week in. He did this on his own. I would have looked at the reviews first, but I'm just so proud of him that he was strong enough to do this. I'm looking at the reviews and I'm not very happy with these reviews reading what they're saying scares me I pray to God that this place does not do my son worse than he is... I'm keeping the faith in God. Please don't let us down.

As annoying as getting sober can be I gave SARC an opportunity and it worked out for the best. I trusted the staff and the process and I did feel different after 40 days. When I got out I realized that being there and being annoyed by tons of little things was exactly what life would be like on the outside. Safe to say I was geared towards a successful recovery thanks to SARC.
