If I could zero stars I would. This company is absolutely horrible. They lock you into a contract which auto renews. They tell you they are coming out to upgrade equipment and when allowing them to do it it automatically locks u in an additional 5 years. Even after selling your home you are offered to buy out or move your equipment in which they want to charge you a travel Fee and refuse to come out and service the equipment if something is not working correctly. It appears this company engages in misleading sales tactics to trap customers into automatic yearly contract renewals. As many other reviewers have pointed out, they never clearly explain that the contract renews automatically each year. If you want to cancel, you're required to do so in writing, 30 days before the renewal dateotherwise, you're locked into another year of service.While we were remodeling our home, I tried to cancel the service by phone. It is really disappointing to get reviews like this one. We are very clear about the terms of our agreement. **** did call to cancel the service because they were remodeling their home, but she agreed to keep it because we gave them 6 months of free service while they did so. Even though she didn't have to pay for those 6 months, we still had our service active and incurred monthly fees by doing so. We are long-term customers of SAPS, but were scammed by another home security company. SAPS took the time to explain to us, at length, what the scam was and what we needed to do about it. I really appreciate their personal, friendly, competent service over the years and recommend this company.
I have been a customer with ********************** for about 10 years and am extremely happy with their service. Whenever I have a low battery or other issue with my alarm system they promptly schedule me and get it taken care of. I love working with a local company!
I would like to advise people not to go with San Antonio Protection for home alarm services. I moved from my home in September ********************************************************************************************* 2023. I called and spoke to customer service and she advise me to send an email in January 2023 which i did on 01/19/2023 to cancel.
