Been with SAPS for almost 8 years now. Never had a problem. Always been treated with respect. Would absolutely recommend this company to anyone. With all the crime in San Antonio, their reliable company gives me and my family peace of mind.

To start, I will say that the customer service was good at first...after they have you under their 5 year contract though, it goes down the drain. It started off bad when the technician installing the cameras was drilling through a wall and hit a water pipe. They did pay to get that fixed, but what a hassle! As for the cameras and dvr equipment...well, the cameras were decent, but not high quality. The dvr and app for the system were horrible. There was no way to fast forward, rewind, or any way to make it easy to search for... read more

I have been using SAPS since 2013. Their system has been reliable all these years and the few times I have had issues or wanted a change to a feature they have been quick to respond and provided excellent service. The monitoring service is a great value compared to other companies I priced and that some of my friends have contracts with.

I had the same experience as another reviewer. Technician came out to replace our panel because it was an older model and the battery was dying. They had me fill out updated contacts, etc...not realizing it was a 5 year contract. We tried to cancel, but they wanted to charge an enormous fee. Lesson learned.

After more than 5 years of minimal service and malfunctioning equipment, I was looking forward to terminating my contract with SAPS. However, when I did , they presented me with a bill for nearly $600, saying that I notified them 3 days too late, and that this was spelled out in the fine print. At more than 80 years old, I cannot see well enough to read the fine print, and I prefer to trust people.
