Historically, the SA parks Foundation did an amazing job showcasing big name artists at the annual Jazz's Alive festivals like the Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, Hiroshima and many others. Currently however, that is not the case. Headliners are unknown or lesser known artists that most jazz fans wouldn't pay with time or money to see perorm. They cite nonsense rationales like financial and logistical constraints.
