It can be better. It used to be a good hospital prior to the name change. 1992-2005 were the best years. The hospital was called: Brooke Army Medical Center. The staff and doctors cared about the patients. Now it is about cutting corners and hiring problematic and questionable civilian doctors who cannot make it in the civilian world. Worst pharmacy ever! Waited in the room for 2 hours after the doctor prescribed medication. Then had to wait another 2 hours to get another prescription before we left. Staff sitting around doing absolutely nothing and wont even update you on how long the wait will be.

i received top notch, compassionate, professional care in the emergency room and on the 4E burn unit. can’t shout out all the staff enough, from house keeping to the surgeons and EVERYTHING!!!! in between. teamwork makes the dream work. i’m blessed and privileged to be taken care of by the dedicated staff there.

WORST ER I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. WAS HERE FROM 8AM AND DID NOT GET DISCHARGED UNTIL 11PM. THIS IS A JOKE OF A HOSPITAL 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
