MCDOWELL needs to work on listening skills and bed side manner. Especially for the elderly.
Dr. Matthew Schaefer is great; however, his staff is very rude. They actually come out from behind the counter demanding your co-pay before allowing you to come back, which is understandable; however, after informing the staff member that I had Medicaid, which would cover my co-pay... they demanded to see my card. I explained that I had a new card ordered and that it was on its way in the mail, and I explained that a Medicaid representative sent me an email that contained the relevant information as well as a phone number fo... read more
Dr. McDowell asks direct questions regarding health issues and gives direct answers. She always give concise, direct instructions that are "patient friendly".
Dr. Glanton and his staff are the best always have a smile and making sure the patient is informed and aware in all aspects of the visit and care.
