Very unhappy with this practice. I was seen in the hospital by Dr Sikora. I was sent home on IV antibiotics for 10 days. Verbal and written instructions at discharge were to call her office and make a 1 week appt, as she wanted to see me before the IV was removed by home health. I started calling the office the next morning and then daily for 5 more days. Dr. Paloma Rivero is very kind and patient and I belive she should be recognized for her transparency and caring natural duties she carries in this awesome interesting field. Staff is also very helpful and polite.
The care given was good but the billing is awful! I have Medicare and Tricare for life, 100 percent coverage (I pay nothing) yet right out the door they stated we have to pay 2k, then they changed it to 1k. We paid it and now getting a bill for $1500.00. The point is if Medicare was not covering this then they should of told us at the begining,
No matter how much I try to be patient with whoever is at the receptionist/appointment line, I AM ALWAY met with, "Infectious disease consultants, please hold..." or they pick up and they put you on hold. I called five days in a row. They put you on hold until the system goes directly to voicemail. You leave a voicemail, and no one calls you back. Im going to find another doctor. I've even had to call people back in the office about new pharmacies or something and I can't get through to anyone because they always put me on h... read more
