There aren't words to describe the feeling of being cared for so wholly and completely. In depth check ups, understanding and caring providers, being respected and supported at every turn, patience and kindness, the list of reasons I'm so glad my fourth baby was born at the birth center is long and wonderful. I had a very intense, VERY quick delivery, and they were on top of things. My only regret is not having the first three there!
If I could go back in time, I would have all my children here. I had an o.b. for my first delivery, nurse midwives in a hospital for my second and third and finally the wonderful midwives at San Antonio Birth Center for my fourth. I delivered a 10 pound (2 pounds bigger than any of my others)posterior boy and it should have been my most traumatic delivery....instead it was my fastest recovery and healthiest most alert baby.
There aren't words to describe how amazing, beautiful, helpful, loving and kind every single one of the women who work here are. After having a not so great hospital birth with my first, I could not have asked for a better, more peaceful or more amazing birthing experience with my second. From the prenatal appointments through delivery and recovery to postnatal appointments every aspect of you and your child's care is unparalleled by any doctor I have ever been to. I moved out of town and didn't get to have my birth at San Antonio Birth Center as planned, but I am so grateful for the time I spent there. After leaving and touring other birth centers, I quickly realized just how much I'll miss this place. I have had the pleasure and best experiences birthing both my children at the San Antonio Birth Center. Both were different but equally enjoyable births. The midwives and support staff are all very loving and welcoming. I couldn't recommend a better place to birth your babies. Love you ladies!
I just love the strong homelike feel and warmth from the midwifes here. Always gives me great strength and courage to stay positive and balanced with my body, mind and my new baby. All you need is that emotional support for a happy and healthy pregnancy. I'm excited to know how and what this labor and birth will bring.
Cindy is such an awesome midwife! She's guided me and was there for me throughout everything!
