I used to enjoy the rodeo. But the last few years, I’ve listened to Boyd make crass and sexist jokes. But tonight’s rape joke during the calf wrestling event took the cake. It is never appropriate to make a rape joke, especially when children and survivors of sexual assault are present. Shame on you, Boyd. And shame on the San Angelo stock show and rodeo for allowing this to continue unchecked.
Lots to see and do, but the pig 🐖 barn is over crowded and needs more seating!!!!
It's a great, laid-back show for cattle exhibitors. Parking is good. People are nice. We stalled heifers in the horse barn. There were very few cattle in there- had stalls, all the room in the world, no lines for wash rack, etc. it was AWESOME.
This was good! I like the show they are great at it!
We went to the rodeo and carnival twice this year. We went on Sunday, February 4 and Saturday, February 10. We had a great time on both days. Both rodeo performances were amazing. The kids really enjoyed the carnival. We will definitely be going back.
