my sister, gerri and I have been going to San Alfonso's retreat for about 5 years now. we love it !! we love the great spiritual talks given by the priests and nuns. we also love meeting and getting to know the other retreatants. the grounds are truly beautiful. Many prayers have been answered, too. looking forward to our next retreat. God Bless
When my world becomes too stressful, I envision the beautiful statue of the risen Christ above the altar and place myself in the quiet of His presence. Although I just completed my twentieth retreat, this is my way of taking San Alfonso with me all through the year.
San Alfonso's is by far the most relaxing and serene place to get in touch with the Lord. The staff is so good at making you feel comfortable and at "home". I have been coming for many years and hope to be able to continue.
I have been going to St. Alfonso's for the past ten years and love it more and more each year. It is a happy, spiritual place where you can get away to be with God and to enjoy the company if other Catholic women.
Just got back from my retreat. This is my fifth year. I look forward to this every year. Everyone at the retreat are truly wonderful Christians. All of the women, the prests, Sr. Joanne and of course Brother Bernie. The talks are thought provoking and inspirational. They are given with love and humor.
