I recently had a procedure done by Dr. Shapiro and I could not be happier. He found a blockage in an artery in my right and left leg. He put a stent in each leg and I can now walk which is something I was not able to do without pain since January. I cannot be happier. Dr. Shapiro is a wonderful Doctor. He listens when you speak and does not rush you out of his office. I give him 5 stars.
I was totally dismissed by Dr Shapiro at my appointment. I went to the office to get a comparison ultrasound on my arm since I had two conflicting results from prior ultrasounds. No ultrasound was ever performed or discussed. Even though one of the previous scans showed that I had no-flow in the cephalic vein in my arm, from the hospital. Dr. Shapiro is incredibly thorough in his approach and takes the time to listen carefully to his patients' concerns. He never makes you feel rushed or dismissed, and he ensures that you fully understand your condition and treatment options. His compassionate bedside manner, combined with his extensive knowledge and attention to detail, instills a great sense of confidence and trust.
