a real doctor ...hardly any of them left
I could not get Sam Pasternack to admit to a medical records company that I was alive and lived in California. He had been my Doctor for over thirty years. Odd man....
I saw Dr Pasternack shortly after moving here and I was sicker than I'd ever been in my life. After treating me for pneumonia he diagnosed a condition that my previous Dr of 2 years ignored. He then referred me to the Hope center and follows every movement of my care. His easy going persona should not be mistaken for anything negative. He knows his patients and is thorough. Im lucky to have been referred to him by my landlord.
A service that collects medical records could not get Dr. Sam Pasternack to acknowledge anything about me. I had been a personal friend and patient up until 2001 - and upon moving to California, he would provide no information from his office. In emergency care, I would have not lived. The facts of this person offering a lifeline were unavailable. I will never understand the logic behind the license on this. It was the equivalent of "Die".
