We love Dr Van de Velde he remembered my son from 2 years ago, great bedside manner, professional caring and patient. He is the best!
Excellent visit. Dr V. listened well, explained things well, answered comprehensive questions, took me through the options well, and recommended I *not* get the type of surgery he performs—meaning he was unbiased, only cared about the proper medical advice and options. He was also thorough and unbiased in how I could explore an alternate option and the physicians who practice those procedures. He wasn’t in a hurry to end the session, wanted to make sure I felt confident with all the information.I was very impressed.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Samuel Van de Velde. The PAO (periacetabular osteotomy) he performed on my hip not only corrected my dysplasia and eliminated years of pain, it gave me my life back. I can now not only perform daily, physical demands, but I can also squat, lunge, and do so many of the exercises I spent years modifying or cycling out of my workout routine.
