Dr. Potolicchio was my neurologist throughout my teenage years while he practiced at the GW Medical Faculty Associates. He had an excellent bedside manner, genuinely cared about his patients, and provided outstanding care. He was also compassionate and proactive in finding treatments that worked best for my migraines. I am grateful for the wonderful care that he provided and would highly recommend him for anyone suffering from migraines.

I have a rare disease and he’s one of the few neurologists who’s actually seen patients with that disease. He takes plenty of time to meet with you. He’s available after hours. It’s close to a metro. He gets that I understand my condition. He speaks to me like I do. Sometimes the office is hard to reach.

The administrative assistance is downright nasty. She reprimanded my 82 year mom for showing up on the wrong day. My mother made a mistake and it wasn't intentional but the way his office secretary pounced on her was unacceptable, rude and unprofessional, regardless of the mistake. We re-scheduled and when we told Dr. Potolicchio what happened he shrugged his shoulders.

Dr Potolicchio is an elderly doctor who should have retied years ago. He lost his privileges at Sibley and GWU hospital and is not someone I would trust to make the right decision about your illness. He was let go at GWU because he couldn't keep up with the newer technology and his treatment plans were dated.

Dr.P was amazing. Wonderful bed side manner and a great sense of humor. He addressed my concerns and quickly came up with a plan for my care. He spent time with me and showed compassion for my concerns. He was very professional and friendly. This was my very first visit and I left feeling much better about my situation. I am blessed to have found my new , perfect neurologist!
