Dr. Gubbels is a super hero! I woke up one morning and the right side of my face was paralyzed. I was diagnosed with Mastoiditis which is super rare and my local hospital had me transported to Dr. Gubbels, it was late at night and the following day he was booked with surgeries BUT he and his team stayed back to fit me in, literally the pre op are was all dark. Terrible follow up and diagnosis of symptoms.
I waited months and drove an hour and a half for this appointment. I was desperate and hopeful for answers, but when I arrived, I was gaslit about my symptoms and told I needed a stronger anti depressant. Terrible bedside manner and completely condescending attitude. I left this appointment in tears after feeling completely dismissed. Complete waste of time.
One of the finest and most professional doctors I’ve ever seen. His bedside manner and communication was outstanding. I highly recommend him, and avoid any negative comments made about him.
Dr. Gubbels was great! He was very kind and helpful. Met with him before surgery and he explained everything in detail. Took time to visit with my husband and I. He was very personable. He was very thorough before surgery ensuring I had all the right testing to confirm my diagnosis. Day of surgery again took whatever time we needed. Surgery went great, any questions after surgery he personally got back to me. He seems to genuinely care about his patients. I would highly recommend.
