We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Samuel Gandy. He has ALWAYS been there for my 81 year old mother. He is patient and prompt in responding to my concerns about her medications or medical tests. Even when my mother sees other specialists, I confer first with Dr. Gandy. He has always given me sound advice in a timely fashion.
If you’re looking for someone who cares about patients, you’re in the wrong place. Very disappointed. He is not the doctor that is personable. Responds very short and really doesn’t want to listen to the patient or provide feedback.
Dr. Gandy was so incredibly helpful when infectious disease doctors said I didn’t have Lyme disease and symptoms were all in my head (I had it before I knew what it was like). He treated me like a human and listened deeply to my concerns. He prescribed antibiotics on the spot, and it was later confirmed by a Lyme disease specialist based on symptoms and later I tested positive for lymes.
