The Vilas Home has exceeded our expectations. My mother-in-law has settled in beautifully, thanks to the caring staff and welcoming environment. The weekly events and outings keep her engaged, and she loves the gardens and sitting areas. It feels like a true community.

After touring several assisted living facilities, we chose the Samuel F. Vilas Home for my dad, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff genuinely care about the residents, and the proximity to CVPH is a huge bonus. The home’s rich history gives it a unique character, and the residents seem genuinely happy.

Samuel F. Vilas Home is a gem in Plattsburgh. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel valued and cared for. My mother has been living here for a year, and I am continually impressed with the quality of care and the engaging activities provided. The historic charm of the building adds a warm and inviting touch.

My uncle recently moved into the Vilas Home, and the transition has been seamless thanks to the compassionate staff. The meals are nutritious and delicious, and the activities keep him happy and active. The facility is always clean and beautifully maintained. I couldn’t ask for a better place for him.
