I had an uncomfortable experience at the counter at Samuel & Co. While I was buying a sweater, the cashier asked if I was sure I didn’t want to try the large on because it might be snug. I told her I had tried it on two weeks earlier and it fit perfectly. The comment felt unnecessary and embarrassing. I came in to buy a sweater I liked, and left feeling judged about my body. I hope staff will be more thoughtful about comments on customers’ clothing sizes.
