This place knocked me on my backside. The food landed somewhere between "Louisiana Saturday Night" and "I Saw Miles and Miles of Texas." I had shrimp, oysters, a salad, green beans and fried oysters; husband had a shrimp po' boy. Food is awesome; service could not have been better. When we were almost finished, they brought little samples of cheesecake to all the tables. I went into transports. THIS is the hole in the wall to crawl inside and die - gar-on-tee you'll die full and happy. Five bowls of gumbo.
The food is usually very good but this time it was not so good. This is the second time in the last 3 months that the food was not like it use to be.
When staff found out we were new to restaurant, they were so accommodating! Food was so good! Watch out for green beans. They do have a kick but are good!
