Food was great. Well seasoned. Hot and fresh. Dining room was a little dirty.
The main issue with this establishment is that it hasn’t been the same since it first opened in Port Allen. The workers that’s there now are RUDE!! The lady that takes your order has a problem with customers asking questions. Then when you tell her that your order was messed up. Her only response is “I put it in the way you told me,” when I know exactly what I ordered, and how I ordered it. Delicious ‼️ We were three hungry travelers that ended up at Sam’s. Every dish was prepared excellently. Fish, shrimp and a Philly cheesesteak. The salad fixings were fresh and crisp! I tried their Sam’s sauce for salad dressing and my teen ate it with his fries. Don’t let the store front fool you; this restaurant is a must eat at! The young couple running the restaurant were incredibly nice, and hospitable. Kudos for making our dinner meal well worth the stop!
