Got the Don special hoagie. You guys cut the meats too thick. Hoagie becomes chewy and tasteless. Need to cut the meats very thin to be able to taste the difference between each meat. Hoagie is a good size and good portion of meats and cheese, but again cut too thick to have any flavor.
Let me start by saying I have been eating food from Sam's since I was a kid in the 80's. Usually no problems until we ordered 2 chicken cutlet tenders most recently. The chicken was not good, very hard and overcooked. We were told this would be room temperature when we had our pick up time, it was cold. We were instructed we would have marinara sauce and yet got honey mustard. When we called to voice our displeasure, there were zero solutions offered. Unacceptable response from a legit establishment.
I love this place Best ravioli and sauce with meatballs. Cheesesteak meat is the best. Best tomato pie. We never do bought cakes for occasions but Ashley my niece got her high school graduation cake from here a canoli cake. The only time we did a bought cake she got another one for her birthday this year. Great sandwiches. Been going here most of my life .
