I would never recommend this current Dr.. I had an exam, got my glasses and my RX was way off.. went in a second time and he tested my eyes 3 more times.. got my glasses again and my RX was still off.. I had to go to Brent's and Stanton for a second opinion before my $$ was reimbursed.. again, I do not recommend Sam's for an eye exam ..
Service is okay. Took a while to be seen the day of but got in the same week I called, so can't complain too much about that. Be warned, they no longer take insurance and only accept cash (paper no debit or cc!). Pretty sure they are evading taxes. Got no record of my visit or receipt. Cash was put in a box. Shady but I guess in this economy you gotta do what you gotta do.
To buy glasses here sucks. They do not tell you everything till you pay, then they try to Tell you everything and it's not the same as before. The employees will not help you and easily Wash their hands of any problems. The low price tags, draws you in but I would avoid shop here.
The exam is out of pocket paper Cash which is fine. The optometrist was perfect. It's the employees there the optical center that are not the greatest. And it's Sam's club corporations and that's not great either. They do not discuss all the information given to you until final purchase when paid and more than likely insurance will not be taken.
