Office staff was great. Dr. Scaruzzo at Sam's Club Optical in Mechanicsburg was the best eye doctor for a new lenses i have ever seen in 40+ years of needing glasses. Thoughtful and thorough.
Extremely rude and lacks common sense on scheduling appointments. Calls in the middle of a work day to confirm an appointment literally the day before so there's no time to call back and then blames the patient. Actually did call back though but because the lack of common sense contributed to not asking for a name or a phone number, no notes were taken. Some professionalism would be nice.
I like the doctor, I and my family are repeat customers but historically they are unreliable in answering the phone. I'm due for a checkup but I just hung up after twenty rings, no voicemail available. Might try again later but may have to call somebody else if they're too swamped to answer the phone to make an appointment.
The scheduling system is terrible. Placed my order on March 20 and May 29th I need an appointment to pick them up.
