Cheap glasses, helpful employees. Never had issues, and they’ve always saved me money.
I’m never using Sam’s club optical again. I ordered contacts and they have yet to come into the store. It’s been longer than the time frame they first gave me. The doctor refuses to give me a few trial pairs to get me by. Also, they make me pay upfront instead of going through my eye insurance. It’s a pain every single time, as my eye insurance tells me that it’s not the process that sams club should be doing. I want to preface this by saying I’ve been coming here for my eye exams since I was in middle school so over 13 years and my experience with the doctor has always been amazing. However, I had a very distasteful experience my most recent time here. I ordered my contacts over the phone as I always do and got a message that they were ready. I came in to get my contacts at 5:55pm and there was only one associate there and she was sitting at the desk helping a customer and calling someone from the desk phone on and off.
