I would like to start out by stating, I really like Dr. Acharya. The issue I have is no one answers the phone. The office called and left me a message stating the doctor would not be in the office the next day for my scheduled appointment and I needed to call and reschedule. I attempted to call for two hours (during business hours) with no answer or option to leave a message. This has sadly not been the first time this has happened.
She is very kind and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything that was going on with my body. She ran the kind of test necessary and was very thorough.
This office only cares about your money and I am saying with my personal experience. I went to this office and had a diagnosis and the dr. Said she will send my prescription to pharmacy based on clinical diagnosis. Later on I checked with my pharmacy and they never received any prescription. I messaged the doctor through patient portal and she compelled me to book another visit if I need prescription and when I questioned her, their office blatantly asked me to find another doctor if I don’t want to book another visit but th... read more
Dr. Acharya is a skilled, knowledgable, compassionate and thorough doctor. I have had some strange symptoms this year that I have had to see multiple doctors for. It has been a bit baffling and I feel that Dr. Acharya has gone above and beyond in making sure that they have or have not been related to a condition that I see her for. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a rheumatologist that is kind, compassionate, knowledgable, professional, and that really listens and pay attention to her clients' health/symptoms.
This review is strictly for the office staff/ receptionist as I never saw this doctor. I had a referral from my insurance and I called the office for almost a week and left a message. My call was never returned. I called a different number from the number on the referral. I called during business hours and wasn't still routed to the after hours answering service. (8:13am).
