The atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant looked clean and well organized. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, and the food wasn't impressive. We were a party of 10, and my entrée arrived about 15 minutes after everyone else's, so the group was basically done eating by the time I got my food. My wife's drink (a simple Coke) also took 15 minutes because the waitress forgot it. When we asked for a refill, it took longer than it should have. Nothing special but charge a premium! I had the sliders and nothing special for $22. The meat had little flavor, add grilled onions or something to give it more flavor. My wife had a breakfast sandwhich which was just as boring. My daughter had the breakfast burrito which was the best out of all 3 but at $20 we could have just gone to a local taco shop. Came to Toasted for breakfast after them claiming it's "the best breakfast spot"—unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The food was just okay, nothing memorable, and the portions were surprisingly small for the price. We ordered two breakfast plates (no drinks or sides), and the bill came to nearly $90 with tip. At around $35 per breakfast plate, I expected a lot more in both quality and quantity. Not worth the price, and I won’t be coming back.
Great makeover of Sammy's! Very diverse options! I had the Sourdough bowl with Shakshuka! Spicing was just right!
