DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SAMI'S PLACE!!!! They are unprofessional, rude, liars, and DO NOT PAY THEIR BILLS! We are a small radio business and we did business with one of the owners, they signed a contract and of course they were expected to pay a balance. Its been 8 MONTHS AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT PAID. The owners are never there and we have left messages but they are never returned. The manager Shannon was rude and disconnected the call on me. I decided to try this place because kids eat free but was hesitant due to the bad reviews. Well, let me say those people must have been having a bad day! We went on a Sat night(fairly busy) were immediately seated, waitress was friendly and attentive, our drinks and food orders came out quickly, food was good and price reasonable. We will be going back!
It was a Sunday, so normally we expected a wait for a table. That was only 5 minutes. But, that's when the real wait began. We ordered as soon as the unfriendly waitress approached our table (second Sunday in a row with the same unfriendly waitress with an attitude) then watched as three other tables were waited upon and served their food; all three arriving long after us. I'm glad my life didn't depend upon this place for any type of emergency because the results would have been fatal. This place is not real Mexican-American, the decor is lousy, the staff "family" likes to chat behind the cashier counter while customers wait (TACKY), and there is one waitress that is quickly driving this restaurant establishment down the tubes. I have gone there 3 different times (with a girlfriend once and with my boyfriend twice) and was not favorably impressed any of the times. It does has decent prices (especially for lunch) but the service isn't very good and the food isn't either. The lunch time taco salad was okay but it would have been better if it had more than 1 tiny tomato slice, more than a half a cup of lettuce and some flavor (besides salt) to the meat. lunch special was awesome and the courtesy donation to the morgan county softabll tournament was fantastic.ya'll rock!
GREAT food. Excellent value for the money. Four of us ate for just over $20 and had LOTS of food!!
